Never thought I'd touch cardboard again after taking Vera's 3D sculpture class at UD, but here it is. And I even had fun with it : )

Cookout

Had a glorious lakeside cookout prepared by Dom at The Cottage. Chicken-onion-scallop-bell pepper-kabobs, crab-stuffed shrimp, crabcake-stuffed mushrooms, caprese salad, margaritas and—most importantly—lots of long-time friends. Thank you Zach + Dom!

We've had an awesome few days celebrating his upcoming graduation!

Got a Hobby

I was feeling a little bored with myself, so I decided to pick up a new hobby.

Anybody know much about jewelry-making? Particularly beading—simple necklaces and earrings? Let me know if you have recommendations for online stores. I am in search of quality, hypoallergenic hardware (clasps and hooks) in warm tones (gold/brass/dark gray).

I'm totally psyched after my first bead-buying excursion with Amanda.

My obsession has begun.

Cherry Blossoms

I went to the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC with Amanda and Melanie (in April). It was lovely to see the thousands of pale pink blossoms everywhere.

Here's a little update on my list! I haven't taken many pictures of all of these things, but I promise they really happened. It feels good to write out what I've been up to : )

02. Visit Kelly and Becca
Visited last week! Chatting, margaritas, song-writing...
Had such a ball that I forgot to take pics.

06. Become involved with the UD alumni association
Went to a meeting in bmore, and just signed up for this.

19. Go on a Baltimore harbor water taxi bar crawl with friends
April 18th we crawled around the harbor.
'Twas a gorgeous day with many pirates and cheerleaders.

22. Go to a restaurant I haven't yet been to in Baltimore
Finally experienced Rocket to Venus! The food is awesome.
Mac + cheese with green onions and kalamata olives, anyone?
Or how about some fried pickle spears, hmmm?


I miss blogging. Gotta break the camera out and get back to it.
