My mom's friends have this really great tradition – the morning after one of their friend's kids gets married, they bring a delicious brunch over to the wedding family & out-of-town guests. They do all of the prep and the work, chat a bit while they set food and drinks out, and then they sneak off so the family can visit and enjoy some relaxing post-wedding time.
And, of course, they always stick these flamingos in the lawn.
A key part of the tradition.
